Favicon, the small icon beside the blog title

Recently, i found out that one of my friend's blog had changed the usual blogger orange icon beside blog title. So, my curiosity had urged me to looks for ways to change it and to make my blog more unique and nice. Many of the blog had mentioned about it, but most of it required a lot of steps and complicated,  Finally, i found out this blog: http://findhow.blogspot.com/2007/10/tutorial-how-to-change-your-blogger.html. It shows the most simple ways to change the favicon. I had changed my orange blogger icon to love shaped cloud ady.

1) Create and design an image and save it as jpg, gif, png & ico (i tried jpg and gif, the ori blogger said ico is preferred, but harder to upload, i think harder because it needed converter). The preferred resolution is 16x16, but i tried 22x22 and 36x36, both also works. (the ori blogger thinks 36x36 is the limit).

2) Upload the icon to photobucket and copy the Direct link.

3) Go to "Dashboard">> "Design" tab>>"Edit HTML". (You can press "Download Full Template" first, to save your original version of html, if you scare later will change the html and don't know how to reverse back)
4+5 (see the picture below)

4) At the edit template (html) area, find (press Ctrl+f) to find the highlighted html
5) Insert the 2 lines html codes in the picture (but replace the url = the blue line highlight) with the Direct link you copied at step 2 from photobucket. (Sorry, can't write html in its blog post, so please refer the picture for the code)
6) Save the template, and view your blog

(the ori blogger recommend to close your page, delete the temporary internet files from your browser and reopen your page in order to see the changes, but i can see the changes directly after pressing "View Blog" in Mozilla Firefox Browser.
